I hadn't considered deliberately ending a letter page mid-sentence - good idea. With letters, I always break up copy with benefit-led sub-headings. That way even skim-readers can get the main sales message. Wherever possible, I go for 1-piece mailers, from postcards to roll-folds. In general I think they work more quickly than a letter in an envelope.
